Day wise Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival

Arrive at Siem Reap Airport, meet our representative and get transferred to the hotel. Spend leisure time. Post lunch proceed to Cambodian Cultural villages, wax museum, Miniatures, former capital Ou Dong, Royal palace, National Museum, Wat Phnom, Phsar Thmey, 12th century Kompong Kdey Bridge, 16th century reclining Buddha and Independent Monument. Enjoy watching traditional dance show. Do the Shopping at the local market. Return to the hotel and have a relaxed overnight stay.

Day 2: Angkor Wat Tour

Post breakfast, you would visit Angkor National Museum – the grand entrance to a world class heritage shows the glory of Angkor Civilization. Spend full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins. Go for Sightseeing includes the Bayon Temple, South Gate of Angkor Thom – famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Also visit jungle covred temple of Ta Prohm is an amazing sight. Also watch an enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. We drop you at the hotel for a relaxed night stay.

Day 3: Siem Reap City Tour

Post breakfast, visit floating village of Chong Khneas and take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia. Then visit Artisans Angkor provides training to young Cambodians in ancient arts and crafts. Then drive to Pouk district to visit silk farm where you can watch silk creation complete procedure, growing the food for the silk worms, breeding the worms, silk extraction and refinement etc. On the way back visit the western Baray – the largest manmade body of water at Angkor provides water for intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Departure

Have a hearty breakfast; Spend leisure time. Later get transferred to Siem Reap airport as per your flight departure time. Return home with everlasting memories of trip with Indus Traveller.

Day 1: India – Cambodia – Phnom Penh

Combodia 4 Nights / 5 Days tour packages start like – Upon arrival at Phnom Penh airport, meet our Fly High Holidays Representative and transfers to hotel for check in Lunch not included Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha, and the National Museum, also called Musee des Beaux-Arts. A French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier, designed it in Khmer style in 1917. The museum contains a collection of Khmer art – notably sculptures – from throughout the ages.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – City Tours – Joined bus to Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel Visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. Transfer to Phnom Penh bus station for your joined bus to Siem Reap. Upon arrival at Siem Reap bus station, meet and transfers to hotel for check in. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Angkor wat Tours

Breakfast at hotel. Visit to Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre Temples. Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (“The Royal Baths” was once used or ritual bathing),Banteay Kdei(surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountainlake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat Tours

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. It is time to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on theCambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup temples. Overnight accommodation at hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap – Boat Trip Departure

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the “village” move from place-to-place following water levels and current. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight home.

Day 1: Arrival – Phnom Penh

On arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, meet and transfer to your hotel for the night. This day is free at your own leisure; take some time to enjoy this mixture of Asian exotica, Indochinese charm and Cambodian hospitality town. Overnight in Phnom Penh Meal included on this day: None

Day 2: Phnom Penh

After breakfast, visit Independent Monument, Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda, Wat Phnom. After lunch, proceed to visit Toul Sleng Museum and Killing Fields of Choeung EK and some shopping at Russian Market. After dinner, proceed to Sisowath Quay. Day 3: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap

After breakfast, we will board a public bus down to Siem Reap (4-6hours). Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up and transfer to have your lunch before checking into your hotel Afternoon visit the Cambodian Cultural Village: A unique, sprawling cultural attraction, intended to introduce the visitor to Cambodian culture and history. Day 4: Siem Reap

After breakfast, proceed to Angkor Thom Area (Angkor Thom Temple South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace, Royal Palace, Woman and Man Pond). Proceed to visit Ta-Prom Temple. After lunch, continue our journey to Angkor Wat Temple – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th – 13th century. Before we end our tour today, make a visit to Bakheng Hill for its beautiful sunset.

Day 5: Siem Reap

After breakfast, proceed to the Tonlesap Boat Trip (Floating Village) and Les Artisan D’ Angkor (Art School), a full-service crafts organization with an ambitious program which includes Les Chantiers Ecoles, an educational center that trains rural young people in the traditional skills of stone carving, woodcarving, lacquer and silk weaving. After lunch, proceed to Angkor Silk Farm. Enjoy a traditional Khmer massage for 1hour and proceed for a tour of their Local Market. Tonight, we will have dinner with Aspara Dancing Performance. Overnight in Siem Reap Meal included on this day: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 6: Siem Reap Departure

After breakfast, free at leisure till time to be transferred to airport for your flight back home.
