Day wise Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival in Leh

On your arrival at Leh airport, our representative will greet you with a warm welcome and escort you to your hotel. Once you check-in and are well-rested, you can begin with your sightseeing tour. Your first sightseeing destination in Leh will be a visit to the 3 Idiots school. Yes, it is also known as Rancho’s school. This is the school where the climax of the movie 3 Idiots was shot and since then this school is a popular tourist destination. Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. The stupa is very famous for its beautiful white dome. It is a Buddhist monument and holds the relics of Buddha. These were consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama. The highlight of this stupa is the Tibetan architecture, you will be awe-inspired by it. The last destination for the day is Leh Palace. The palace is also known as ‘Lhachen Palkhar’ and is a 17th-century royal palace. Now it is a tourist attraction and also houses a museum. Post this tiring day, you will be heading back to your hotel for dinner and a night stay.

DAY 2: Excursion to Sham Valley

Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel in Leh. Today, you will be going for a day tour to Sham Valley. So as soon as you finish with your breakfast, you can leave for the excursion. The first tourist attraction planned for you is the Gurudwara Pather Sahib. The Gurudwara was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Buddhists consider the gurudwara a holy place and not just them many tourists from around the world come here to seek the blessings of Nanak Ji. The holy place houses a rock that resembles Guru Nanak’s back and is considered to be a place of worship. Then come the Magnetic Hills. This is the most fun and unique destination. You must have seen vehicles going downwards on a slope but here it is the opposite. Here vehicles do not go down but move up. Yes, it is true and on your Amazing Ladakh Tour, you can witness it. DAY 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (160.3 km. / 4 hrs. 43 minutes, Height 10,000m)

On Day 3, you will be taking a road trip from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. So, have an early breakfast and keep your luggage ready to leave for the trip. Khardungla Pass is the highest motorable road. Many bikers keep passing by this pass. The pass is surrounded by snow-covered mountains, which makes it a beautiful location. You can spend some time there before you continue your trip to Nubra Valley. Once you reach Nubra Valley, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and then leave for your sightseeing tour. Your first sightseeing destination is Diskit Monastery. It is also known as Diskit Gompa and is the oldest monastery in Nubra. The gompa belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism. DAY 1: Arrival in Leh

There are multiple sightseeing places in Sham Valley, you will be visiting Gurudwara Pather Sahib, Magnetic Hills, Confluence of the Zanskar and Indus, Alchi Gompa and Ladakh Hall of Fame. The Gurudwara was constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The holy place houses a rock that resembles Guru Nanak’s back and many devotees come there to seek blessings. Then come the Magnetic Hills, which is very renowned amongst tourists. It is a cyclops hill, here vehicles do not go down but move up. You will then visit Confluences of Zanskar and Indus, where two rivers meet. Indus, with hues of green and Zanskar with shades of blue, meet right at Nimmu Valley. They are distinguished by their colours and their confluence is a sight to witness. You will also visit Alchi Gompa, a complex of Buddhist temples. The Alchi Monastery is said to be the oldest of all and also the most famous. Before you end your day tour in Sham Valley, you will visit the Ladakh Hall of Fame. Shayok River originates from the high altitudes of Rimo Glacier. The water of the river is crystal clear and its scenery feels like a beautiful painting that has come to life. You must visit this river to feel relaxed and away from your daily routine. After a visit to the river, you will head to Pangong Lake. Once you reach your campsite, get settled in and take some rest. DAY 5: Pangong to Leh (222.9 km. / 5 hrs, 22minutes, Height 3,500m)
